Dehydration

So I was supposed to attend a further evidence meeting at the job centre today but I woke up extremely dehydrated which then made me very anxious and I couldn't go. There is a heatwave at the moment and it is extremely hot. Due to me being overweight and unhealthy already, I cannot function at all in the heat. I recently bought a very small desk fan to keep me a little cooler during the day and its the best investment I've ever made. I've been very dizzy and lightheaded today. I had to go to hospital as a child for dehydration and since then it hasn't really improved, I just forget to drink. I am about to get a drinking app on my phone though to remind me so hopefully that will help. I already get physical symptoms from my mental health, I don't want that as well!

Anyway, my boyfriend went instead as it was a joint claim in hope that they would accept it from him and they did. It was confirmed that we would be paid our first amount next week and we are happy with the amount we will get. I will have an assessment for ESA in the next few months to see if I am entitled to any more but for now, I will have to keep getting sickness notes from my doctor. Its all very complicated but we will get there in the end.

I will tackle some more coursework tonight as I plan to finish the first assessment tomorrow and pop up to town to get it mailed off. I was really hoping for a day of nothing tomorrow but it must be done. I'll have to wait until Sunday for that. Its been hard work as I've left it all to the last minute but its getting done. Its good to know that I can continue to complete these courses while receiving universal credit because it means I am still doing something productive with my time and adding something to my CV. The courses are free and only take a few months at a time to complete so I can hopefully just keep doing them. I already have a Counseling Level 2 Course that I completed around a year ago so I plan to keep going. I think that once I finish this course in September though I will start learning my theory because with money, I can do my driving lessons again. There's a lot to think about.

Sorry to anyone reading this because its going to be a long one but I also went to my partners dads for a BBQ tonight and it was great fun. It was typical English weather - raining, but we still had a good time and sat out under umbrellas. My partner cooked and we played a game called categories which I was recently taught and it was really fun. Then, a play with my dog and a phone call with my Dad once I got home.

There is one more thing I managed to do tonight concerning the most brilliant cat in the world but I'll talk about that tomorrow as this is turning into an essay. Goodnight, everyone.
